Alfredo Gonzalez has joined our Shadowbase team as Product Deployment Analyst.

Alfredo’s Full Biography

Alfredo began his HPE NonStop journey in 1997 straight out of college (National Polytechnic Institute in Mexico City), working at Inverlat Casa de Bolsa (a brokerage). A couple of years later, he joined ESQ Business Services Inc., where he worked for the next 23 years.

He started as a Tandem Technical Support Engineer monitoring the production and development nodes to ensure continuous availability as well as performing Tandem System administration functions. He provided technical support to the Tandem users, solved operations-related problems, researched answers to Tandem-related questions and supervised the operations staff. He also developed a Tandem Messaging Standard and an automated monitoring agent (using C, TACL and RDL programming). He coordinated and participated in the Disaster Recovery Plan tests.

During his time at ESQ, Alfredo provided customers with pre- and post-sales technical support for all NonStop and Monitoring solutions. He installed and customized products in North America, LATAM, and Europe. He trained and instructed many customers to use and maintain ESQ’s products, while hosting and facilitating meetings as well as presenting topics at various conferences. He also analyzed, designed and developed system solutions for customers around ESQ products and services.

With time, he spearheaded the Technical Support and Implementation Team workload and activities and also coordinated efforts with Support Level 3 and development teams around the world to solve issues reported by customers. He thoroughly collaborated with the Business Development Team in completing customers’ RFI-RFPs and pre-sales activities, including customer presentations and demos actively supporting sales and post-sales activities. He helped design and draft RFE documentation based on recommendations made by customers on functionality required or enhancements to support processes.

Alfredo is working in our Product Deployment/ITL group assisting Peter Schvarcz and team with customer installations, configuration, deployment, and tuning, as well as assisting our business development team with pre- and post-sales activity, market and customer analysis, and building relationships in the region.
