On Friday, March 6th, the Shadowbase team had a fantastic time attending SunTUG 2026 in Tampa, Florida. Though the event took place over a single day, it provided a valuable opportunity for members of the HPE Nonstop community to reconnect, share ideas, and explore the latest developments in the ecosystem.
We would like to extend our sincere thanks to everyone who helped organize and run the event. SunTUG continues to be an important regional gathering for Nonstop professionals, and the energy and collaboration throughout the day made it a rewarding experience for everyone involved.
During the event, members of the Shadowbase team presented two sessions highlighting innovations and emerging opportunities for organizations looking to unlock greater value from their enterprise data.
Turbocharging Nonstop Data Streaming: High-Performance Data Integration and Cross-Platform Data Validation with Shadowbase Solutions
This session explored how many Nonstop customers are replicating mission-critical data to Windows, Linux, cloud environments, and enterprise SQL databases to support payments, risk management, analytics, and regulatory reporting. The presentation highlighted new Shadowbase enhancements designed to improve throughput and scalability, particularly for higher-latency environments such as cloud streaming.

Attendees also received an introduction to Shadowbase Compare Plus, a new solution designed for cross-platform data validation. The session covered how organizations can verify Nonstop Enscribe and SQL data against open-system SQL targets, even when schemas or data types differ, while detecting and safely repairing inconsistencies without disrupting production workloads. Additional discussion focused on array-based replication techniques for high-volume streaming workloads, performance optimization strategies, and the Shadowbase product roadmap.

A second session addressed a challenge many organizations face today: massive volumes of valuable data remaining trapped in silos and legacy systems. With the vast majority of the world’s data created in just the last few years, the ability to liberate and activate enterprise data has become essential.
The presentation explored how organizations can securely unlock hidden value from their data, whether on-premises, in the cloud, or across hybrid environments, to support analytics, AI initiatives, and more informed decision-making.
