HPE Business Momentum

HPE shared many pieces of positive news about the health of the Nonstop business, starting with the Keynote Nonstop Business Update from Casey Taylor, Vice President and General Manager of HPE Nonstop Solutions.  Attendees heard encouraging news about Nonstop’s momentum, customer adoption, and roadmap direction.  Casey highlighted HPE’s continued investment in Nonstop technology, reaffirming HPE’s commitment to mission-critical computing.  In addition, HPE mentioned new customers have recently joined the Nonstop community, further reinforcing the health of the Nonstop platform.  HPE also hired three new specialists focused on the manufacturing industry, strengthening Nonstop’s presence in the sector, which increasingly depends on real-time data, automation, and resilient operations.

After each day of sessions and training, the Shadowbase team found time for some extra fun at eGTUG’s networking events.

On the first day of the show, after all the training was complete, the team met up at Spaten München brewery for an inside look at how the famous German beer is brewed.  The team got to see the giant copper kettles where the beer is brewed and learn about centuries-old fermentation traditions that make Spaten München beer so delicious.

The next day, the team was treated to a lively evening at Augustiners, where they saw a lively German band and traditional Bavarian dancers. In addition, they sampled classic local dishes and beer.

We look forward to future gatherings that promise to bring us all together again.

A big thank you to the customers, vendors, and, of course, the eGTUG committee for organizing and making the event such a success.
