We will present HPE Shadowbase Synchronous Replication Feature Rollout, discussing the Shadowbase Zero Data Loss (ZDL) capabilities. We will discuss the major new HPE Shadowbase features, including: the pros and cons of asynchronous versus synchronous replication; feature rollout sequence; architectural flow; and what to consider when using synchronous replication. In March, we also attended and presented on HPE Shadowbase synchronous replication at the SunTUG/Connect Florida Sunshine Summit in Tampa. Last week, we traveled to Latin America to present on HPE Shadowbase solutions at enthusiastic regional user group meetings in Santiago, Chile; Buenos Aires, Argentina; and Bogota, Colombia. We described how Shadowbase works in various solution categories: business continuity (active/passive through active/active), data integration and synchronization (e.g., feeding a data warehouse), application integration (e.g., building a real-time business intelligence system), various utility ancillary products, along with several use cases. HPE sales and field teams enjoyed and benefitted from our HPE internal product suite update presentations at PTUs held in Santiago and Bogota.
