Fall Newsletter

I am excited to be joining the Gravic family, specifically working in Senior Project Management in the Product Deployment/ITL Group.

As you probably know, I have spent a good number of years working on HPE NonStop systems in various roles, as well as a number of years with Enterprise Storage and distributed systems. I am looking forward to new challenges and to what the future will bring. While I am still relatively new here, I have been quite busy during the past couple of weeks.

Although the ongoing pandemic is still impacting the way we all live and work, we at Gravic have been quite busy.

This time of the year is typically a very busy period for us, and while this year is very different than any other year, this aspect has not changed. There are a number of interesting new POC training opportunities, including large financial institutions in the U.S., Canada, and Europe.

We also just successfully completed Phase 1 of a migration for a large retail customer and are looking at completing Phase 2 in the near future.

Shadowbase ITL Group Provides Continuous Support in 2020

As life slowly returns to normal for a lot of people, the Shadowbase ITL Group is busy again after a Summer lull. During this downtime, the ITL Group was involved in an initiative to create new documentation for HPE Shadowbase solutions. This documentation is a quick-start guide for various HPE Shadowbase products and utilities, meant to give the user the bare minimum information and examples necessary for configuring and using the software. By including the expertise of the ITL Group’s customer experience, we hope that this documentation will make the learning process easier and more streamlined for new customers.

Fall always brings new projects and customers, and 2020 is no exception.

The ITL Group has resumed working from the Gravic office, and we continue to remotely support and help customers. Due to the still-standing travel restrictions, customers have started relying more and more on local support for on-site visits and installations. Therefore, the ITL Group is often supporting third-party vendors and other contractors hired by our customers. This situation made our new quick-start guide and learning tools even more necessary.

happy new year

As we come to the close of a significant year, we look forward to a new and better year for everyone.

We hope for a speedy recovery for anyone affected by the pandemic. As always, please contact us if you have a question related to Shadowbase Support or Deployments.
